Michael Janda enjoys his last day as Senior Creative Director of the internet division of Fox Family Worldwide. He leaves his 21st floor office in the Die Hard building to venture into a life of freelance. Quickly landing ABC Family, Sony and TDK Mediactive as clients.
Mike moves from Los Angeles to Salt Lake City and continues freelancing under the business name "Janda Design Company."

Begins creating print and interactive materials for Volvo and Mack Trucks.

Hires first full-time employee in March. By year end Jandaco boasted five full-time employees.
Moves into new office space in Alpine, Utah.
Notable client acquisitions include Warner Bros., Disney and ABC.
Creates the very first online game to help promote the launch of the show "Lost" on ABC. The show later exploded with viewership. (Thanks to Riser? Or because it was a freakin' awesome show?)
Designs and programs a personality quiz to promote the launch of ABC's new show, Desperate Housewives. The quiz received three million unique players in the first three weeks.

Riser launches virtual fish tank game for Bratz. The game becomes the most trafficked game on Bratz.com.
ABC hires Riser to create BettySuarez.com to help promote the debut of the acclaimed television series, Ugly Betty.
Warner Bros. hires Riser to create the environmental graphics, catalogs and signage for their booth at the E3 Expo in Los Angeles.
NBC hires Riser to create branding and marketing materials to help launch NBBC (their vehicle for syndicated video online). The division was later abandoned when they partnered to form Hulu.
Riser wins Promax "Gold BDA" award for the site created for ABC Family's show "Beautiful People." It was ABC Family's first ever "Gold BDA" award.

Michael Janda is invited to judge the Addy Awards in Nashville, Tennessee.

Full-time staff size grows to 15 uber talented people.
Apple releases the iPhone 3GS, Riser celebrates by purchasing iPhones for the entire team.
Following Disney's purchase of Club Penguin, Riser hired to redesign the site.
The launch was a huge success.
Launches interactive site for promotion of the new Lego Batman video game. The Flash site went on to win a Gold Addy and a Judge's Choice award against stiff competition.
NBC retains Riser for backend development resulting in the launch of websites for Deal or No Deal, Sci-Fi Channel & Jay Leno's Garage (among several others).
Disney hires Riser to design & build a Hannah Montana dress-up game.
Riser is recognized as the 43rd Fastest Growing Company in Utah at the Utah One Hundred competition & the 17th Fastest Growing Company in Utah County by Business Q Magazine.

Jeff Jolley is named "President" of Riser and oversees all day to day operations of the business.
In spite of a global economic recession, Riser turns an annual profit for the 7th year in a row. Since inception, Riser has been a debt free business and has never had an unprofitable year.
Riser is hired by ABC to create a robust promotional website for their popular television series "Legend of the Seeker."
NBC retains Riser for backend development resulting in the launch of websites for Deal or No Deal, Sci-Fi Channel & Jay Leno's Garage (among several others).
TV Guide hires Riser to design and build their online marketing materials for
the award season shows (Emmys, Grammys, and Oscars).
Disney hires Riser to create dress up game for promotion of their popular show "Wizards of Waverly Place."

Riser named one of the world's 100 Best Digital Agencies by Art-Spire. The awards were primarily based on FWA Awards, Webby Awards and prestige of client list.
Riser creates promotional site for Ugly Betty to help drive tune-in to its debut in syndication.
Riser is hired by ABC to design and build the online game for Who Wants to Be a Millionaire.
Warner Bros. Games hires Riser to create a website to promote the launch of their Sesame Street video games.

Riser creates the Regis & Kelly Beautiful Baby Search.

Riser three-peats at Best of State winning in 3 categories: Graphic Design, Interactive/ Multimedia & Web Design. Riser also wins the Best of State Statue (B.O.S.S.) for the Science & Technology category. This was a legit honor.
Riser wins FWA Site of the Day Award for the "Tropicana Tropolis" website created for Pepsico.
Notable client acquisitions include Pepsico, TD AMERITRADE.
The Riser portfolio site won an 'Awwwards Site of the Day' which also assures its inclusion in the book 'The 365 best css websites around the world. 2011.'
